SIT4ME project completed its second, and by now the last, seismic data acquisition campaign. The survey was conducted from 5th to 25th of November 2018 in Zinkgruvan mining area (Sweden).

The caimpaign gathered 22 researchers from the SIT4ME project partners: Institute of Earth Sciences Jaume Almera (ICTJA-CSIC) (2), TU Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF)(4) and Uppsala University(16).

The main aim of this field campaign was to obtain enough seismic data in order to, once processed, create a 3D seismic profile of the area. Almost one thousand seismic stations were deployed during this data acquisition survey and a vibroseis truck from TUBF was involved too. The truck was used as controlled seismic source.
